J.S. Hamilton Poland, an accredited research laboratory, is using GeoTask, our Field Service Management system. Learn more about the company, their main challenges and how GeoTask improved the process of sampling, marking, and delivery.
How to efficiently plan the sampling and delivery of dispersed tasks?
J.S. Hamilton is a group of companies across CEE countries with a wide scope of services for traders, retailers, producers, industry, transport, distribution, and storage. They provide laboratory analysis of food, cosmetics, household products, pharmaceuticals, packaging and consumer products, liquid and solid fuels and chemicals as well as analysis of environmental samples such as water, sewage, waste, soil, etc.
On average, there are several thousand samples taken every month by Hamilton employees. Each sample must be tested shortly after being registered and delivered to the lab – time is crucial here. Additionally, the tasks are usually geographically dispersed. Sampling and delivery processes must be perfectly planned and organized – there is no room for mistakes or delays.
GeoTask – tailored to the customer’s needs
Our collaboration began back in May 2019. Globema’s experts thoroughly analyzed Hamilton’s needs and customized GeoTask to handle their specific tasks and properly assign the necessary materials for sampling. Here’s how GeoTask supports the whole process:
- The system covers the registration of end-customer inquiries
- Arranges visits/appointments at the sampling points during the notification stage – that way, employee availability is used optimally
- Automatically determines the materials and containers necessary for sampling during the notification stage – saving dispatchers/customer service workers time.
After a few months of testing, J.S. Hamilton started using GeoTask to manage the whole process of sampling food and environments for testing. It is now being used by several dozen field workers.
