In GeoTask 23, we have introduced task list filter templates. The goal is simple: to make the daily work of dispatchers faster and easier. Say goodbye to the time-consuming daily routine of manually setting search parameters.

Thanks to personalized templates, setting specific criteria (for example, “emergency orders” in the “Elkhart County” area) takes just one click. Filter templates not only save time but also ensure that no key information is overlooked. The templates are flexible. Each user can create, edit, or delete their own templates without affecting the workflow of other users.

Faster planning and task control – the smart task loader

GeoTask 23 also delivers significant improvements for dispatchers and coordinators who plan hundreds of tasks each day. We have introduced a smart task loader that supports .xlsx files, allowing for:
  • Task preview and validation. You get a preview of tasks before they enter the system. Incorrect data is highlighted in red, accompanied by an explanation of the error.
  • Quick error correction. You can correct data (e.g., a wrong address) directly in the loader table or download a file containing only the erroneous records for fixing.
  • Mass task editing. You can do more than just add tasks; you can also bulk edit existing tasks and append new tasks to existing orders.

The loader provides unprecedented control over the quality of data entered into GeoTask and allows for mass order editing in mere moments.

A new quality of work for field technicians – improved mobile app readability and intuitive navigation

The mobile application is the primary tool for a field technician. In GeoTask 23, we focused on a radical interface refresh to make daily order handling faster and more pleasant.

We moved away from the previous blue color scheme in favor of modern grays and a cleaner graphic layout. The new design is easier on the eyes and clearer, which is crucial when working in difficult lighting conditions.

We also updated the button layout and status graphics. The new icons minimize the risk of mistakes when marking work progress.

Service teams are becoming increasingly international. Previously, changing the language in GeoTask required changing the settings of the entire phone (system settings).

Now, employees can switch the language directly within the app and choose the one they feel most confident using (options include: English, Czech, Romanian, Serbian, Russian, and Ukrainian).

Suppose you are verifying the cost estimate for a complex installation repair that consisted of several separate tasks performed by different technicians. Previously, you needed to check the usage for each task separately and manually sum up the parts used.

Now, in a single view, you get a full summary of all materials and equipment operations linked to a specific order, covering all tasks performed within its scope. This solution significantly simplifies inventory control and speeds up client billing, especially for complex orders.
